Individuals can give up to $495, and married couples up to $987, and receive the full amount as a credit on their Arizona state taxes.

Unlike a deduction, this is a direct credit, meaning it reduces what you owe to the state dollar for dollar. If you owe taxes, your donation lowers that bill; if you’re getting a refund, it boosts it.

Make your donation anytime before April 15, and you can apply it toward your Arizona state taxes from either the previous tax year or the current one.

After donating, hold on to your receipt; we’ll email it to you for easy record-keeping.
